+This looks to have been added here, https://github.com/Kong/kong-plugin-request-transformer/pull/7, but we lack documentation on how to reference it. Using the documented convention, kong.ctx.shared.foo,  results in errors with "kong" being a nil value.

+Tests have shown it successful  using this with the request transformer plugin and route transformer advanced, i.e:
