Bind a Somrig to a Tradfri bulb to control Brightness?

Hi, can I bind an Ikea Somrig to a Tradfri bulb so that I can smoothly adjust brightness by holding up or down? Or do I need a downright dimmer such as Rodret that has Brightness_up and Brightness_down actions?
