What is the "additional and unnecessary work" required for v2.5 on ESP32? #116

CRITICAL: You must install using the v2.0 install for ESP-32 boards as v2.5 is additional and unnecessary work for these boards at the current time.

What is that specific additional work? It'd be nice to be able to build out a complete board targeting the latest version of the platform.
