📘 Description

Relocating the filters from the hamburger menu to a more visible location next to the product list will improve usability by allowing users to quickly refine their search results without additional navigation. This change ensures the filters are more accessible, responsive, and integrated with the product list layout.

🔢 Steps

  1. Move the existing SidebarComponent from the marketplace page to a new file named filters.tsx in the components/marketplace directory. If the directory does not exist, create it.
  2. Rename the component to Filters.
  3. Adjust the layout so the filters appear next to the product list.
  4. Verify that the filters remain fully functional after relocation.
  5. Ensure the design is responsive and visually cohesive with the rest of the Marketplace interface.

✅ Acceptance Criteria

  • The filters should be located next to the product list in the Marketplace.
  • The filters must remain functional after relocation.
  • The design must be responsive and consistent with the Marketplace interface.

Can I take this issue?

Hello I'm Ekene, a frontend and blockchain developer. This is my first time contributing to this repository, and I’m excited about the opportunity to collaborate and bring my skills to the table. Looking forward to making a positive impact and working with the team!

heres how i'll tackle this task:
I will relocate the filters from the hamburger menu to a more prominent position next to the product list to improve usability and accessibility. First, I will move the existing SidebarComponent to a new file named filters.tsx within the components/marketplace directory, creating the directory if necessary. I will rename the component to Filters and adjust the layout so the filters integrate seamlessly with the product list. After ensuring the filters remain fully functional, I will verify that the design is responsive and aligns with the overall Marketplace interface.

ETA: 2days

i will adjust the layouts for it to show on the product page, then I work on responsiveness using tailwind CSS and make sure to retain the funtionality
