im going for maximum vertical space here, a keybind to toggle hide/show all those titles would be appreciated. also the white is kind of bright and doesn't match my colors so it would also be beneficial too

a config file option would be good too, but a toggle would allow for changing on the fly

Extra Feature Request: titlebar white background turn off (use regular terminal bg instead
image

as you can see here, the titlebar is very bright white and big, and for some reason cjk characters display weird and produce extra text? they dont center properly, and the titlebar there generates whitespaces or something and just does not look good, do you know why this is and or a possible fix?

i think if you make the bar at least transparent or let people define colors in config, would be handy.

As they say, 'the lord god helps those who help themselves...'* Surely, if you have the wherewithal to install a python package, use it in a terminal, and navigate to this github issue page, you have the tools needed in 2024 to make changes yourself.

Here's a strategy that might work:

  1. Clone the repo
  2. Copy lyrics-in-termina/lyrics/window.py
  3. Paste into chatgpt
  4. Ask chatgpt how to change it
  5. Modify window.py
  6. $ pipx install . --force
  7. Test:

*(I think I picked that up from Stephen King?)
