I'm not sure if Deen Freelon will open source his data (but I could check with him), but there's a possibility of aligning his data on race, gender, and location of Communication scholars with our graph. This would help "decolonize" syllabi, as we could highlight work by scholars of color, women, etc. The downside is since his work focuses on the Communication field, it would not overlap 100% with our graph.
