Could be improved like so;

Placement (left click to add entity, right click to remove)
Movement (left click and drag to move entitys, right click and drag to resize)

Then the key could possibly be used to switch back and forth between modes.

Ideally this would eventually have some buttons/tiles that can be clicked to change between the modes on the editor hud.
