After revision 2 is available to testers. What should rev 3 look like?

Suggestion:

Make a prototype board we can sell to a larger audience. Going "bare minimum" and simplifying for end users. Such as:

Components:

  • Limit LEDs to 1 RGB for device status. Maybe 2? One blue like the esp8266 built in one?
  • What header pins do we need? Is it enough with the 6 needed to connect and upload firmware?
  • Use 2x USB ports and 2x phono. All on their own channel. Less confusing if a user has both a USB and phono toy and can't figure out why it doesn't work because they plugged in both on the same channel.
  • Do we have a fuse?
  • Only 2 outwards facing inputs: Slide switch for power, push button for config. 2 Small buttons on the inside for power and boot mode select.

Layout:

  • Possible to fit 2x USB and 2x Phono ports on one end, config stuff on the other?
  • Micro USB centered, switch and button next to it?
