Flaps not working on Thrustmaster Airbuss TC1&2 #81
Comments
It hasn’t been upgraded to my new flap system with axis support as the model is not currently in active development. I’ll see if I can find time to fix this. |
I'll see if I can create a custom entry in the joystick file to get a workaround for now. Thanks for looking into this for me. |
I have this same issue as well but accept with the throttle quadrant. I was wondering if you can please fix this issue because the a330 is one of my fav aircraft and would love to fly it with my airbus TCA 1&2 throttle. |
I haven't had time yet, sorry. I'll get it to when I can. The A330 is very outdated at this point so implementing the new flap system is a little trickier. Kind Regards, |
Selecting flaps for Axis 2 in Joystick configuration, neither the flaps lever nor the screen display changes.
The physical flap lever on the Thrustmaster does change the /controls/flight/flaps property (and therefore the movement of the actual flaps), but not by the correct value. On inspecting /controls/flight/ section, neither flap-lever, flap-pos or flap-txt changes. This appears to affect the take-off and landing characteristics of this model.
Using the FlightGear UI to select flaps the following results are given
Position flaps flap-lever flap-pos flap-txt slats actual flap position
0 0 0 0 ' ' 0 Fully In
1 0.29 1 2 1+F 0.666 Out 1 step
2 0.596 2 3 2 0.814 Out 2 Steps
3 0.645 3 4 3 0.814 Out 3 steps
Full 1 4 5 FULL 1 Fully out
