It would be great to store a mapping from DatasetID to bids name

Hello @quentinduche I agree. Although I have the fealing we are redoing shanoir_downloader_check here.
So we could either use it as a basis or refactor shanoir2bids using shanoir_downloader_check ?

Oh yes, right.
Might be better to use shanoir_downloader_check indeed.
