Similar to vault mechanic vitalik describes in his wallet post
For security purposes, delay confirmed transactions, and allow confirmed transactions to be revoked
- Let's say somehow there's a security issue we don't anticipate and someone's able to slip through a malicious transaction, this allows us the ability to minimize damage
