If DSC contains a component (c0x) with level="collection" the finding aid as it is listed in the Repositories list or Collections list shows double or more times as it is indexed in ArcLight

I think this issue is separate from those community-reported issues with the context expand/collapse. I was able to find where this doubling-up of collections is showing. If you view the list of collections in a repository, you can see that the collections are doubled up:
Going into the collection listed with full information (Alströmer mss., 1779-1784), you see the normal overview of collection level information:
But then going into the only item that is listed in the Contents tab of that collection:
That has a level="collection" and the view is showing this like it is a collection and not a component inside of a collection (it should the Collection Context tab that shows here). This is the "other" collection that is showing in the list of collections for that repository (Alströmer mss.).
I can't attach the EAD XML file but here is a screenshot of the EAD of the full component list with the level attribute on set to "collection":
