As someone in the electronics group, I would like to be able to make changes to the common calibration files repository.
Explanation
Following on from the meeting held on 13/12/24 with Maksim we agreed to hand over some responsibility to electronics to handle the common calibrations repository and make sure that changes that need to be made are applied to all instruments. Git is not the most accessible of tools to use so electronics should have a more streamlined way to be able to apply their changes to the repo.
Heres two pre existing suggestions:
One idea is for them to make the changes locally and we just do a git commit and push when asked to do so.
Using git desktop is an easy way to manage repos.
Additional Information
See the ticket prior to this. See the calibration files wiki page.
