Making it easier to contact alumni. [Feature]

I believe one of the primary objectives of the portal would be to make it easier to find and contact alumni of the college. I propose two solutions for the problem:

• Add linkedin profile link to each each alumni either from their personal email automatically or by asking them in a form.
• It would be useful to have updated contact information on the portal. To enable easy update we can pull the latest company/stream/phone number from their linkedin / fb /g+ using auth login and APIs.

We would be integrating linkedin, fb, g+, but in a later step.
Let's say X wants to contact Y.
What I think we should do in phase one is just send an email from our app to the alumni Y with subject something "X says hi" and then they can continue their conversation through email. Later we can add the capability in the site so that people can have conversations through the site itself.

I'm of the opinion that contact numbers should only be provided on a consent basis, i.e, alumni A requests alumni B for his/her number, and then when alumni B says 'okay', A starts seeing his/her number. Just like what happens with FB, we have to 'ask' somebody for his phone number..
