Can send but seemingly not receive packages, any package received shorter than value of packet length byte

After updating homegear to the latest version 0.9.0, it seems I can send, but not receive packages. I get an error on each received package:

Any idea what I could do about this, and where the root cause could be? I'm running homegear in a docker container.
