Sorting by view count is the best way to find the most popular content and mostly corresponds with quality, it would be great to click on a channel and watch their most viewed clips. Also it would be nice to have sorting options from the channel clips tab immediately instead of having to use the advanced search.

View count isn't something we display on the frontend because videos don't update that frequently after being archived/uploaded; I can somewhat see a use case for all-time videos, but it'd be all over the place for new uploads.
Sure but even if you take the view count like 48 hours after a clip upload and update it as infrequently as you want, it would still be a pretty helpful sorting method in the long run, probably the most helpful, either per channel or per stream.
