Currently AIO has the ablility to change the joycon color. Would it be possible to add the ability to place joycons in the storage low / power state, see sub command 0x08?
When a joycon comes from the factory it is placed in a storage / shipping mode so the joycon battery doesn't get overly discharged while on the shelf. When connected to a switch it is activated and placed in a mode where the battery will fully discharge after a few months while on standby.
I have about 5 sets of joycons used for party gaming. Having to constantly maintain the battery between gaming sessions to prevent over discharge can be a hassle. Having a feature to easily putting them in storage would be a nice option.

Do you know of any homebrew that does that, or if it's doable at all? I've Contrarily to changing the color, there doesn't seem to be function for that in libnx

Currently you need to use a PC and the Joycon Toolkit then send custom commands to place a joycon back in the storage/shipping mode.
see How to deactivate joycons to save the battery power
