CLIs are easier to automate for bulk tasks compared to GUIs.

Original post

Since WPF is such a pain to use given its incompatibility with assembly trimming, we'll just remove it entirely.
WinForms will be leaving, too. No more MessageBox or OpenFile dialogs.
