I have designed a badge addon and noticed the header location and orientation on the HackerHotel badge.

I mostly been following the trend with orientation and position and it seem to be on top of the badge with the VCC circle on top.

As there is no real standards and just a trend, there is no real right or wrong but my badge addon for instance will not fit on the current HackerHotel badge as well as many other popular ones.

Many badge addon are distributed here:

MrRobot badge that a lot of people use as reference.

Even though the silkscreen is on the backside to keep the visuals clean, the addon header itself is placed on the front of the badge, such that addons are placed on the front of it as well. See this screenshot, and note that it follows the pin order from the specification:

The rotation is a good point; we'll take this into account for the next one.

I made an adapter board to help with flexibility in positioning of the addon header.

Ill have a few to give out during the event.

I have around 15 spare boards as I figured others might find it interesting and useful.

It might not be too late to make another order before the event however.
