I'm actively contributing to various projects with a focus on Data Science and Bioinformatics. Here are the main repositories I've contributed to:

AutoViML/featurewiz: I've added a
skip_xgboostfeature which allows skipping the recursive xgboost step. This was done in response to an open issue and the code was subsequently incorporated into the main repository. -
adamewing/bamsurgeon: I've introduced a new
vcfparameter to theaddsv.pyandaddsnv.pyscripts. This new parameter allows users to directly pass a VCF file path to the scripts, enhancing its versatility and utility. I also fixed aZeroDivisionErrorinasmregion.py. This fix, which prevents a crash when the number of reads is zero . This improvement simplifies the workflow, making the script more flexible and easier to use. -
