I just ran into a problem because guake was setting GDK_BACKEND=x11 because it couldn't find GUAKE_ENABLE_WAYLAND.
In the end launching guake with GUAKE_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 solved the problem but I'm wondering if I missed something or made some other kind of error.
Does guake always assume that it's running under x11 unless that variable is set? If "manually" setting the variable before launching guake the intended way to use guake under wayland?
