@adekunleoduye has exported a list of local meetups from eventbrite. Next step is to create the block by iterating over the data.

@channel: I think it would behoove us to have guidelines for including meetups on this list. I don't want to send our members to a group that ends up violating our code of conduct and community guidelines. I vote that we start with meetup we can vouch for—organizers we know and ones we are either members of or have attended. Your thoughts?

@misscs I think its a good idea but how many other meetups can we really vouch for?

Personally, I don't really review every other meetup's code of conduct or know if their group violates our code of conduct and community guidelines. So it will be hard for me to vouch got got a meetup group that I hardly know.
