Using global variables in substitutes.

I have a trigger set a variable (character's name) based off one line, then want to display that name in a substituted line, but it only displays the variable name, $ and all.

Current work around is to gag the line to substitute, then have another trigger echo the substitution off the gagged line...

...have also yet to update to Genie 4, so apologies if its fixed already. I'll get to it soon!
