It would be powerful if LAPIS allowed returning sequences as columns of the details endpoint.
That way, one would not have to join by hand to get something like insdc_accession and unaligned sequence. Yes the unaligned sequences can be long, but that's not a problem.
I can't see an immediate reason why this shouldn't be possible. I know historically there might be reasons you treat sequences differently, but in principle, they are just also pieces of string data like author names.
