3.0.0 b2 Issue running gns3restore on esxi - libssl1.1 no install candidate #181

Describe the bug
Initial boot of VM had no internet. After providing vm with a dhcp address when running sudo gns3restore I get the following error: Package libssl1.1:i386 has no installation candidate

GNS3 version and operating system (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Vmware ESXI
  • GNS3 version: 3.0.0 beta 2
  • Any use of the GNS3 VM or remote server (ESXi, bare metal etc.)

To Reproduce
Import OVF from github releases, boot and run gns3restore.

Please, can you post the result of this command "lsb_release -c"? thanks 👍

It seems not to be related to the initial boot not having any internet, I recreated the VM with dhcp on initial boot and I get the same error, initially:
ModuleErrorNotFoundError: No module named passlib

Then running gns3restore gets the error above.

We have switched the VM to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and fixed these issues. This will work in our next release.
