Also, I would find it very useful to be able to log to the terminal from within my plugin so that running snowpack with --verbose tells me stuff.

Redoing plugin logging to support this is a new project that I want to tackle once v3.0 has had a chance to settle. The entire dev dashboard is overdue for a redesign.
