# What is it ?
A dockerfile for easily using RQDA - an awesome Gtk+ qualitative data analysis tools for R (a "computer-aided qualitative data analysis", CAQDA)
# Why ?
This project find its roots in the fact that RQDA dependencies are not easily available/installed in modern distribution of Linux and R.
# How ?
This image proposes the last stable version of RQDA (0.2-8) running in Debian 8 (jessie) and R (3.1)
I use this script to run the image :
# Pulling the images
docker pull frdvnw/dockerqda
# Exec the script for running the container
chmod +x RunDockeRQDA.sh
./RunDockeRQDA.sh
#!/bin/bash
XSOCK=/tmp/.X11-unix
XAUTH=/tmp/.docker.xauth
xauth nlist $DISPLAY | sed -e 's/^..../ffff/' | xauth -f $XAUTH nmerge -
sudo docker run -it --volume=$XSOCK:$XSOCK:rw \
--volume=$XAUTH:$XAUTH:rw \
--env="XAUTHORITY=${XAUTH}" \
--env="DISPLAY" \
--name whirl_wheels \
--workdir=/root/ \
--volume=/WHERE/YOU/WANT/IN/YOUR/COMPUTER/dockerqda/:/home/dockerqda/ \
frdvnw/dockerqda:latest
