Updates will be released in the coming weeks, they are released as needed and when time permits. Security primarily depends on your operating system rather than the apps themselves, app developers rarely push "security updates". If and when security issues are discovered, Fossify apps will be updated in a timely manner to patch them. |

Okay but that's a bit late to hear...Plus saying when time permits after 8 Month is questionable...If that is not classed as needed, I don't know then... Of course that is true but saying this after nearly a Year is not the best to say, I feel like your trying to escape a bit about this topic...You can't just say: No Updates is no Problem as long as your Device is secure...Your Device is not really secure then, because the App would be a Security Hole. And that App Developers rarely push Security Updates is such a lie...this is ridiculous...And I think you have a wrong understanding about Security...Because Security is not just when someone opens an Issue...There is general Security too...And that you say "timely manner"...I don't know what to say...We were waiting one month for the fix of the Fossify Keyboard and you just say sorry...It involves Data Loss and should be fixed fast...Users needed to make a Factory Reset and were locked out...Sorry doesn't change the way of how you Guys handle this...And your Answer here, did confirm it for me even more...You said if Time permits and I'm wondering even more if this Project is just a side thing...I mean that would be not a Problem but at least it should be done in the right way... |

It is a wild take to say "there are no updates, therefore there must be security vulnerabilities". What about the other way round? "There are no updates, because there are no urgent vulnerabilities or bugs"? I do see the psychological effect of seeing that a project was updated recently "uhh, this is well maintained and actively developed"! Why in the world would you think that there are security holes only because there are no updates? |

There are numerous bugs and feature requests made by hundreds of users and someone accepts donations in the name of FossifyOrg for tibor kaputa's work, while there is no real development. I can see the point, "there's no time for this and that" is just an excuse. |

@nvllz Your comment is off topic concerning security vulnerabilities. You are free to open a new discussion to question if @naveensingh pockets a lot of money without doing anything. Just from a superficial look at the commits for just calendar alone, I see multiple commits every month this year, except for one two month gap. I think tibor got his "fair share" when he sold out to ZippoApps. No need to worry about him. |

If it wasn't already clear, I work on this project in my free time, it's not my full time job. I have to work to pay my bills and look after my family, I don't know how that is an excuse.
I would make a lot more money if I spent my time here working on my private contracts so I don't see where the profit 💰 is. The only reason I accept donations is to hopefully start full-time work on Fossify someday. Also, I asked Tibor for his permission before creating Fossify and I don't think he is against me accepting donations:

Feature description
I used the Fossify Apps in the past, but I feel like that only new Apps are pushed out and the old Apps don't get regular Updates...For example Calendar App had nearly 8 Months no Update and this is not the only App, which is like that...That was why I switched to other Apps, because I feel like my Security would lack behind and I just don't understand this always pushing new Apps method...
Why do you want this feature?
I think more than just always pushing new Apps, the Apps that exists should all get regularly Updates...Security lacks otherwise...
