Bug Summary

Hi there,

i've seen the other 3 issues about 1Password integration, which are all closed now;

Can you please clarify whether this is a known limitation, a bug, or an issue 1Password should fix?

Thank you!

Reproduction Steps

  1. Unlock 1Password on the Mac
  2. Open Floorp, go to any website, and try to login with 1Password
  3. You have to manually type in the Password (instead of TouchID, as in Firefox.)
  4. (Logging in manually with a password into the 1Password extension works)
  5. As soon as it locks again after the configured timeout, you have to enter the password again, as in step 3.

Expected Behavior

It should be possible to unlock with TouchID

Actual Behavior

TouchID / the integration with the 1Password app does not work.
(also see the error in the 1Password app screenshot.)

...for anyone stumbling upon this, here is a relevant post with info on the 1Password forum

I have 2 Macbooks, both with the exact same 1Password 8 version;

  1. On the Macbook with macOS Sonoma, i can add the Floorp browser as an additional browser and everything is working fine.
  2. In the other Macbook with macOS Sequoia, the "add additional browser" section is missing in the 1Password app, so i cannot add it. This causes the issue of TouchID / integration not working.

I don't know whether the issue is caused by the different/upgraded macOS version.
