Feature: Multi-pane view

The title is quite clear, but it would be nice to be able to see many feeds at the same time or have a right click option on a user to generate it as another feed (or split tab).

This is a good idea I also want to implement it. Infact when opening a new user I believe it could use the second pane, but then what gets confusing is what if i open a post form that user in the second pane

I think there are some ways to fix that, make a tabbed view or create another viewer for the post you want to see.
If the user wants to see a profile, that works for that too.

what are your ideas for the default action of say opening a profile or post. lets say feed1 is open and a post is clicked, does it open a new panel? or open a new tab in the second panel if there is a tab.

what about if in feed 1 a profile is clicked then a post in that profile?

By default, in the Feed1 will always be open the posts in a different panel, I like that behavior, if you do that in the Feed2 will open as a tab within the same panel. Or just add an option to always open the posts in the same panel and ignore the tabs for each panel.

If you open a post while in a profile, it opens as a tab within the same split.

Yes, many iterations are necessary before even considering implementing this idea.
