could you please implement a way to switch from VolUp/Down hotkeys controlling the default device to changing the Communications Device when it is currently used?
My Bluetooth headset is of cause represented as two devices in Windows. One of these devices is the nice-to-listen-to stereo headphones, which offers no mic input, the other is the Headset, which only has mono audio but a mic input.
Usually my default device is the headphone device, as I want to enjoy the music/video etc..
Now when I accept a voice call via Teams & Co Windows properly routes the audio to the headset, so I can talk back.
But if I now want to adjust the volume on the headset I cannot, as Windows applies the hotkey (or volume wheel on my keyboard) to the default output, which still is my headphones.
So it would be nice that as soon as the comm device is active (maybe measured by "is an application using it's input") the volume control would be rerouted to the comm device.
An additional bonus would be, if currently playing audio is automatically paused as well (windows itself only offers muting).
Maybe EarTrumpet can help, but I would totally understand if you declare this out of scope.

Hi there,
could you please implement a way to switch from VolUp/Down hotkeys controlling the default device to changing the Communications Device when it is currently used?

Thanks and best regards,
Andre
