Using 1.19 with Modern Industrialization, having a Create pipe delivering steam to a mixer machine. All works normally.
The issue started when I used a recipe that outputs a fluid in that mixer. Apparently as soon a run of the recipe is completed, the Create pipe delivering steam underneath breaks and "pops out." The logic of this is that the fluid produced by the mixer "leaks" inside the steam pipe.
But this doesn't make sense:
there's an auto extraction button for fluids on the machine, and it is disabled
the pipes are run by pumps, pumps have a definite direction
First, the pipe should ignore the fluid produced by the machine, because auto extraction is disabled. Secondly, the pipe shouldn't on its own start a different fluid, because said fluid goes in the opposite direction than the pump.
I've done various tests. One of these was moving the mixer upward one step, and extend the pipe, making it transparent. The moment the recipe was completed I saw the steam in the pipe rapidly emptying out, downward, then the pipe broke. Happening very quickly.
Game Log
not a crash
