I believe I got one of the last 1.0 kits, since my belts were too short and I didn't get the tools. So some of these items may have already been addressed.
That said: a few suggestion, if able:
Add a paper with this Repository in the kit! I have my printer about 75% built and some of this info would have been really useful before hand.
What wires do what in the kit? Some are self explainatory, but others not so much... Namely: Which stepper cables go to what stepper? Which of the 2 connectors on the XY endstop harness goes where? What are some of the loose wires for? which side of the Pi/Spider cable go to which board? With some research and/or trial&error these can be figured out; but a more streamlined assembly could be accomplished if the bags were labeled or a pallet picture was shown here. I think the v2_spider_wiring shows some of this, but the X and Y Endstop wires are shown as all black, were as I have Red/Black/White/Yellow that split off to 2 3 pin connectors with one of them going to pins 1 and 3, and the other conforms to pin 1 and 2.
Do not tin mains wiring! this is a fire hazard as high amp draws can cause the solder to melt, then cause electrical arcing in the screw terminals and/or solder the wire into the terminal. either pre-strip the wire a little (leaving the insulation on the end) or use ferrules.
A sample layout of the basement would be helpful. i've had to re-order the board/power supply a couple times because some wires were too short for my layout. I started with what was shown on Voron's website and had to move everything around a couple times as I added wires.
Link to the Spider Repository or list Klipper configs on this Repository. At the least, provide a printer.cfg on here that corrlates with the info here. I know the newer kit has Klipper pre-flashed, but I'm not sure what's best starting out. would that firmware work for my kit? better yet, if someone wants to try a different firmware, but then revert back to Klipper, they could roll back easier this way. Long story short, a baseline would be helpful.
