Please provide the following images in light mode and in .png format. Whoever completes this task will need a connection to Xero. I do not have access to the Xero connection and therefore do not know how accurate or feasible a couple of these requests are. Please let me know if any of the steps below are inaccurate.

CONNECT TO XERO

Images needed:

  • Go to Settings > Workspace > [Workspace name] > Connections and highlight the Connect button next to Xero.

CONFIGURE XERO

Link to resource: https://help.expensify.com/articles/expensify-classic/connections/xero/Configure-Xero

  • Go to Settings > Workspace > [Workspace name] > Connections and highlight the Configure button next to Xero. Then in another image, highlight the Export tab. In another image, highlight the Coding tab. In another image, highlight the Advanced tab.

TROUBLESHOOT XERO

Link to resource: https://help.expensify.com/articles/expensify-classic/connections/xero/Xero-Troubleshooting

  • Go to Settings > Workspaces > [workspace] > Connections > Configure > Coding tab. Enable the Billable Expenses toggle and highlight it in the image.
  • Open a report, click Export to, and highlight Xero in the dropdown.
  • In Xero, show how to navigate to Settings > Chart of Accounts. Then highlight an active account that is used for Expensify in another image. Then in another image, open the details for the account, check “Show in Expense Claims,” and highlight it in the image.
  • In Xero show how to navigate to Business > Bills to Pay > and then the Paid tab.
  • In Xero show how to navigate to Settings > General Settings. Then in another image, show under the heading Features, highlight Currencies.
  • In Expensify, go to Settings > Workspaces > [click workspace] > Connections, and highlight the Sync Now button next to Xero.
  • In Expensify, from the Reports page, select the checkbox for a report and highlight the option for Copy.
  • Show Go to Settings > Domains > Company Cards > and highlight the Edit Export option.

heya @strepanier03 -- assigning you as a liaison for assisting design with getting a few Xero images for the Exfy Classic. i think you handled the Xero migration from Community to HelpDot so figured i would assign this one to you to assist. tysm!

Can't do:

In Expensify, from the Reports page, select the checkbox for a report and highlight the option for Copy.

I can't find the copy option here?

In Xero, show how to navigate to Settings > Chart of Accounts. Then highlight an active account that is used for Expensify in another image. Then in another image, open the details for the account, check “Show in Expense Claims,” and highlight it in the image.
In Xero show how to navigate to Business > Bills to Pay > and then the Paid tab.
In Xero show how to navigate to Settings > General Settings. Then in another image, show under the heading Features, highlight Currencies.

I don't have access to Xero, so it'd be great if someone could provide me with screenshots for that.

I'll work on the two that couldn't be done.

I think the copy button will require a report that has some reimbursable expenses on it, but I'll confirm and let you know the steps to get it shown.

I don't think I'll get to this today, but I'll try to squeeze it in on weekend work or it'll have to be Monday.

Haven't been able to prioritize this yet but I'm hoping tomorrow since today was too busy.
