Currently if you want to know which version of a helper you have, there are only really two options:
Open the everest.yaml in the zip file, or
Hope that the helper has a mod options section with the version number
Proposal is to put version numbers (as defined in everest.yaml) next to the zip or directory name in the enable/disable list. This could even be an opportunity to expose the mod's actual string ID from everest.yaml rather than only showing the zip filename.
