I re-installed 7 times and i still get this error. pgAdmin doesnt work properly because of it, i suspect.

Anyone have a fix? I tried reinstalling windows twice and tried some stuff from the web but nothing works.

Thanks

@Spectre-khan can you share the installer name you tried installing and the target machine details? Also, please share the installation log that installer must have produced an installation log in the %TEMP%, this will help us to understand the cause better.

  1. Change your locale from "administrative language settings" like this image.

  2. re-run postgre installer and select locale english (united states)

i solved this issue with this configuration

Hello @sandeep-edb ,
I got the same error while installing postgreSQL, here is the name of the installer : postgresql-17.0-1-windows-x64.
I dont know what details you want about the target machine but I am using Windows 11 on a Acer Aspire 3 with a Ryzen 7.

I tried changing my current system locale but it didn't work with me.

I tried using the installer again and now I don't have the cluster error. But I still can't open postgres. Here is the installer folder

Could you try with the latest available patch installer?
