I know its an old extension, but for my opinion it's one of the most useful tools there is for safari.

please, make it support safari 13!

much obliged

Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately Safari 13 discontinued support for legacy extensions such as Gmail Counter and requires all extension to be build with the new App Extension format. Among other requirements, extensions must now be distributed through the Mac App Store, which carries a 99$/year fee.

I've not worked on this extension in a long time and I wouldn't be able to cover the distribution costs. For these reasons I have no plans of releasing an updated version of Gmail Counter.

I'm linking here Apple's guide to convert extensions to the new model. Since the source code is freely available, you or anybody else can fork this repository and follow the steps to create an App Extension version of Gmail Counter.

Thank you very much for the quick replay man.

Since I started writing extensions for chrome, I actually just read that article an hour ago and decided its too hard for me.

BUT, I have an app store account in which i am paying the annual bill (for an iphone app), so if you want i can be the one who upload it, if converting the extension is not too much of an ordeal for you?
