Actually when you completely do your own XSLT, which includes/imports the required extraction module, that's no problem. But the krextor shell script frontend does not currently support "external" extraction modules in a plug-and-play way.

This issue was restored/updated/extended from http://trac.kwarc.info/krextor/ticket/109.
