Pictures saved in "new item" mode are now saved in the chronology, but they are not loaded in the Archive on the EAGLE portal

Portal developers have confirmed that the EAGLE portal is not capable of handling objects that don't formally belong to the EAGLE collection.
Since the function of saving "new items" is already based on a half-supported use case (users uploading their own image will not be able of publishing them in EAGLE anyway), it has been proposed to hide/cancel the "new item" functionality altogether.
