I believe my primary reason was not having knowledge yet on how to properly publish a package back when I wrote the code.

Secondly, the code is currently only a rewrite of the original implementation. Publishing this package is technically only necessary when it includes a difference from the original.

Do you have any particular motivations for getting the current version published?

so we can use it easily, really would love to
