Describe the bug

By just using Droid-ify it can start eating more and more from your storage. For me it ended up eating 10GB.

I suspect this is because once an app is installed a copy is also cached locally even after deleting the app.

To Reproduce

Install an app, delete it and install it again. Droid-ify won't re-download the app.

Expected behavior

Droid-ify deletes the cached data once the app is installed and/or there is an option in settings to delete cached apps.

Smartphone:

  • Device: Pixel 6
  • OS: Android 14
  • Version: CalyxOS v5.9.0

Goto setting and set the 'APK clean-up interval'. Force clean-up for now.

I will create a new caching system with more robust checking
