Change Custom Preset from Normal to Powerful

I would like to have the default preset set to "Powerful" instead of "Normal".
If I change the value when the AC is off it changes back to normal automatically.
I can change it when the AC is on, but when I turn it off it changes to "normal" again.

Tried to add "preset:" or "custom_preset:" to the Esp yaml, but neither works.
Any suggestions?
