Feature request: Tweet Share link on Lesson/quiz completion #222
Comments
This is the tool I used to generate the Twitter hare link - https://www.sharelinkgenerator.com/ |
Great idea with this one. Great way to be celebrating achievements in public. Lens would be a great web3 place to celebrate too 😄 I think we need to keep the narrative tight with this with respect to Peeranha. Some extra thought would need to go into how we present/phrase these things on the platform at a high level e.g. on landing pages, and embedded in signposting within the lessons as well. I would hate to see Twitter taking Peeranha's place as a messy way for folks trying to fix problems they come across. Personally I would really like to see us promoting Peeranha, since it's a web3 tool, and has the potential to build a Stack Overflow experience with web3 rewards/credentials as SchoolofCode first envisioned. Let's not 'kill web3 with frens' 🤣 |
Interesting thoughts about Peeranha - I need to learn more about how/where it fits into the user journey, so please share more if you have it, but my thoughts are below... I don't think that would be the case - Twitter marketing is much higher up the funnel, attracting people to the platform who we can then convert to users that use the platform, as well as Peeranha. If the user isn't coming, they aren't using Peeranha - this/marketing gets them closer to using it, and I don't think folks will be solving problems on Twitter. In fact, the ideal world might be people tweeting out links to Peeranha with their problems as well. Solving for getting users IMHO on Academy is > solving for getting people using Peeranha at this stage. |
Also love the lens idea, here is the docs on how to share to lens - https://docs.lens.xyz/docs/integrating-lens This could also open up the possibility of getting a small grant from Lens via their grant program which could be nice to start getting some funds into Academy for the work folks are doing cc @wolovim Could easily have share widget with both Twitter and Lens options |
The following alludes to/addresses the user journey question you asked, and would be my hope too :)

Thanks, @elPiablo - Does that mean you're in support of this feature? it's such an easy win and has potentially such large upsides for growth of academy for 0 effort once deployed I'd love to see this feature prioritised - @wolovim @Markkos89 |
yes, @kempsterrrr :) |
Is such a feature included in the new designs cc @Markkos89 @uma-l |
Hey @kempsterrrr |
Assuming this is the best place to leave ideas if they come up...
Have you thought about adding a "Share your success" button to the end of lessons/quizzes?
This is a simple and effective way of giving users a way to celebrate their wins publicly with their friends whilst also marketing the Academy simultaneously.
This was hugely effective during the Hackathons. See this Twitter Search for the
#d_dminihack
hashtagIt is simple to add this feature whereby we can control/populate what they tweet to ensure it has a specific hashtag, @'s academy/partners/whatever we fancy.
If you click this link for example, it generates the tweet below.
