i install Nix a while ago(7 Days ), only to come today, to run nix develop on the project and i got the following error,

nix command not found

am now getting the following

nix develop
error: could not set permissions on '/nix/var/nix/profiles/per-user' to 755: Operation not permitted

Next time this happens, see if running /nix/nix-installer repair hooks fixes this for you.

Does /nix/var/nix/profiles/per-user exist? What does ls -la /nix/var/nix/profiles/per-user output?
