It would be very helpful for students if there was a diagram to help students visualize the relationship between all the softwares and websites they will need in the first module including (in no particular order, and certainly not complete):

  • their computer
    • VSCode
    • Terminal
    • Browser
    • file system
    • Git
    • Slack
  • the internet
  • GitHub
    • accounts
    • repositories
    • gh-pages
    • issues
    • PRs
    • projects

If you know of one that already exists, or for inspiration, please share it in a comment. If you'd like to help create one even better!

Hi @colevandersWands
Draft graph visualization
I tried to find an easy and free tool to make the visualization. I hope the draft is closed to your idea :)

That is exactly the kind of thing I had in mind. If we use mermaid for the graph GitHub should render the graph in the repository, and there's a plugin for rendering mermaid in MD files from VSCode
