The driver file itself (dcrypt.sys) is updated after reboot though.

Same thing happened to me, it seems it's a generic Windows installation error:

"Under some situations, Windows fails to copy the .inf file because of previous installations, mainly if the previous installation was for an unsigned driver"

This is from a printer installation, but it sounds like the signed/unsigned scenario could apply here as well:

I ran the DC installer one more time and didn't get the error then. Everything seems to be updated and I can enable Core Isolation just fine.
