As the codeowner of an official integration with Datadog, you have been tagged in this GitHub issue to notify you that support for a new Datadog region is required. To prepare for this upcoming expansion, please make sure that your integration is functional for customers in this region.
If you have an Agent-based integration
For Agent-based integrations, the customer will be responsible for defining their region in the datadog.yaml file that they use to configure the integration. There's no extra action needed from your end.
If you have an API-based integration
If your integration does not use the Datadog Agent, you may need to prompt customers for their region information to accurately submit/collect data.
If you are using OAuth, please ensure you are using the site or domain parameter to identify a customer's region, and are using that parameter in any subsequent API calls. You can learn more about this in our documentation.
If you are not using OAuth, the recommended method to identify a customer's region is to prompt them to enter their Datadog site URL, which is explained in this documentation.
If you have any questions about these changes, feel free to contact the Datadog Ecosystems team at [email protected].
