I figured out cmd4 could be used to create a switch that comes on when my script sees the temperature go above my threshold. The cmd4 switch is used in automation to switch pumps on or off based on the temp being above or below a set level.
It's winter here in Australia and I'm using this as a thermostat to switch off underfloor heating pumps if the feed pipe is cold.
Can I use this for automation, e.g. when temp > 20 turn on switch XYZ ?
