Just FYI - there is also the question whether Sentinelsat will turn into an API client for downloads from the new Copernicus Data Space. sentinelsat/sentinelsat#583 (comment)

Probably still a good idea to just change this very simple client here to the new protocol. Should be very quick to do.

It looks like creodias-finder can already be used for downloads from Copernicus Data Space. You just need to replace datahub.creodias.eu by catalogue.dataspace.copernicus.eu in the API_URL.

Seems like they will continue the OpenSearch protocol, too, so no need to change here https://documentation.dataspace.copernicus.eu/#/APIs
