Google hangouts mic cancellation not working

Hi,

I've been using CM13 for a long time and I've found this issue on official CM13 and every CM13 which is based on it (the only rom which works fine on this regard is Santhosh one).

When speaking using Hangouts with Speaker, the other person can fully hear himself, as if no mic cancellation existed, which makes speaking with hangouts virtually impossible.

I can't recall if the same happens with Skype, but I bet I tested once a long ago and it happens too.

Hopefully something could be done.

@cdrage no, im back to MIUI8, but CM14 seems to have it fixed (at least when I tried), waiting for it.

Santosh CM13 rom also has it fixed but it didnt feel as smooth as official one :)

@TinoSM Hmm, must be something new as the CM14 I flashed doesn't seem to have fixed it. Thanks though! :)

@cdrage I tested one of those 14.1 "fan" builds which were compiled for Goodix before release, maybe CM14 didnt fix it and 14.1 did, or maybe I just misjudged it, didnt test it for too long (i went back to MIUI after 1day) but it seemed fixed

@TinoSM I'm having troubles trying to find a link, but do you mind linking it? I'm going to try and do a git dif between both source codes to see what's missing between the two! :)

@cdrage I don't remember exactly, it was a prior non-official compilation of CM14.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/rom-cyanogenmod-14-0-t3461068

Maybe I'm wrong and it was still broken tho, Only tested in one call

@cdrage Updating again, yes, its broken on CM 14.1 too. Its less problematic because on CM13 it would usually cut other's voice, but whoever speaks with me hears himself.

On MIUI it works perfect, also works perfect in skype, weird...
